Most patients return to normal activities within 2-3 days after surgery. The initial healing period takes about 2 weeks. Full osseointegration (bone fusing to the implant) takes 3-6 months before we can place your permanent restoration. You will wear temporary teeth during this period.

Smokers can receive dental implants, but healing takes longer and the risk of implant failure is higher. Nicotine restricts blood flow to the healing tissues. We strongly recommend reducing or quitting smoking before and after surgery to improve your chances of success.

All-on-4 uses just 4 strategically placed implants to support an entire arch of teeth. Traditional individual implants require one implant per tooth. All-on-4 is more affordable for full arch replacement ($9,999 per arch vs potentially $50,000+) and requires less bone.
